SALT's Fourth Emmy Nomination: Kid Advice for the Next President
Do you remember our short film, “Kid Advice for the Next President”? Well, it's just won SALT Project it's FOURTH Emmy nomination :)
For everyone over here at SALT, this powerful little film was much more than a simple commentary on last year’s presidential campaign; it was an empowering, eye-opening experience that enabled kids to write their own script and share their thoughts on what was happening in our country and in our world!
We’re so proud of how this little short turned out! It seems to embody everything SALT stands for: hope, humor, compassion, empowerment, prophetic wisdom, and the importance of lifting up your voice in the face of adversity. So, as you can imagine, we're thrilled to announce that this particular film has won SALT its fourth Emmy nomination. If we win, we'll put the sparkly gold statue next to our two Emmy’s awarded previously for “Strange Fruit” and “I Have a Dream”. If we don't win, we add this nomination (it's always an amazing honor!) next to last year's nomination for "Get Home Safely: 10 Rules of Survival".
What's more: we're super stoked about going head to head with a film by Think Media Studios - when it comes to beautiful film making, thoughtful short films, and inspirational storytelling, we’re in amazing company!
Finally, it goes without saying but none of this would be possible without the support of our SALT fans! Every like, every comment, every share, every story, and every voice inspires us to keep creating, sharing, and making art that might one day make the world a kinder more compassionate place!
Peace,
The SALT Team
