SALT wins an Emmy!

Huzzah!

SALT’s short documentary, “Nightsongs,” just won an Emmy!

You can check it out here (five minutes well spent!). It’s a meditation on the miraculous worldwide phenomenon that happens every spring and fall, right over our rooftops under cover of darkness: the nighttime migration of billions of songbirds. Ornithologist Eric Masterson (he of the Irish brogue and eagle eye) is our guide; beautiful illustration from Penelope Dullaghan helps us see the unseen; and amazing animation by Mariana López brings it all together.

This is SALT’s fourth Emmy - and we could not be more excited!
