The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement and SALT
Here’s SALT’s latest short film, a little animated gem for Maria Shriver’s nonprofit, The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement (WAM).
Every 65 seconds, a new brain develops Alzheimer’s. Two-thirds of those brains belong to women, and no one knows why. WAM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about women’s increased risk for Alzheimer’s, fighting for more gender-specific research, and educating everyone about the lifestyle choices they can make to enhance brain health.
What a pleasure it was to team up with Maria Shriver, the team over at WAM, and Penelope Dullaghan (illustrator extraordinaire!) to create this animated short to help folks to better understand this mind-blowing disease and hopefully get closer to a cure.
Find out more about WAM here. Their bold, inspiring goal is to find a cure for this mind-blowing disease in our lifetimes. Let’s pull together and get this done!
