lectio divina

Every month, SALT highlights one of the many practices of the Christian faith (such as keeping sabbath, honoring the body, lighting candles, praying the hours, etc.) and explores it as a community.

During the month of November, we are going to try our hand at prayer.  For a whole month, we are going to practice "Lectio Divina," a slow, soft, illuminating method of praying the scriptures that dates back at least as far as the Middle Ages.

To pray with SALT, zip on over to "shall we?" and join us as we listen for the heart of God in scripture.
